Accounts Payable Recovery Audit — No Recovery, No Fee
A separate, contingency-priced engagement for organizations that want their accounts payable records checked for money already lost — duplicate payments, vendor overbillings, missed discounts, and pricing errors — without committing budget upfront.
How it works
We review historical AP disbursements for duplicate payments, overpayments, unclaimed discounts, and vendor billing errors. If nothing is found, there is no fee.
How it's priced
Fees are a percentage of the funds actually recovered — industry-standard for accounts payable recovery audits — agreed before work begins. No recovery, no invoice.
Why it's a separate service
Contingency pricing is standard practice for recovery audits, but it isn't appropriate for standards-based internal audit work. We run this as its own engagement, kept apart from IIA-standard internal audit assignments, to keep both services on solid professional footing.
